Jeremy and I have been extremely busy watching as many of the NZIFF films as possible so we’re not going to be able to do reviews on everything we’ve seen so far. However, we will be reviewing the best of the best on our Podcast this week which you can listen to once it’s up on the site. We’ll also be reviewing a few of our favourites on the site to keep our content up-to-date.

We also decided to give our list a miss this year and just watch as many films as possible since they’re all accessible online so there will be a lot more to talk about and review when we can.

Here is a quick list for anyone interested in what we’ve watched thus far:

In no particular order

Mi Vida, Exile, Dinner in America, My Extraordinary Summer with Tess, The Truth, Corpus Christi, Relic, The Surrogate, True History of the Kelly Gang, Suk Suk.

We’re almost half-way through with the final day of the film festival being Sunday the 8th of August. This will probably be our biggest year for films, our previous record was 15 movies so we’ll be shattering that record this year for sure.

Let us know if you’ve been able to catch any of the films we’ve mentioned and let us know what you think or feel about this year’s festival choices?

Stay safe out there, keep watching and we’ll catch you in the next post!
