There are so many things about this episode of season 7 that cross lines I’m not quite sure should have been crossed in the Walking Dead universe. One of them is a massive spoiler, so we won’t spell it out for you exactly, but it involves someone’s arm. Secondly, wow, this episode packed an enormous punch in terms of a certain someone’s return. I mean, who would have guessed that would have happened to the person we can’t mention?
We know this episode has been out a couple of days now, so if you’re a hardcore fan, you probably already know what happened. However, for anyone that doesn’t, my advice is to be prepared. The last 10 minutes of this episode is SO good; you’ll be wondering why it took so long to get there.
Also, the Victor and Morgan face-off that we were all expecting didn’t happen. But that’s okay because something else did, which kind of makes up for that. As much as I was hoping to see Morgan and Strand duke it out, the alternative is more than acceptable and still extremely exciting!
This will also be the last bit of FTWD you’ll be getting as it’s the mid-season break, I think? So we’re going to be sitting here waiting patiently for this “battle” to begin in the next episode. I’m wondering if anyone significant is going to meet their grisly end. I mean, it’s entirely possible. The writers know what gets the fans’ juices flowing.
Also, poor Will. To be reminded of what Victor did to him was just depressing. Thankfully, that scene opened up a massive can of worms that we won’t get to see unfold until 2022. But I’m hoping we’ll also see whether or not Padre exists because this episode didn’t answer that question. Thanks for joining me on this FTWD journey and we’ll catch you next year when the second half of this season releases.
